Plank is an exercise for the body, which is performed in a position resembling push-ups, but relying on the forearms and toes. It consists in keeping the body in a straight line, tensing the muscles of the abdomen, back, buttocks and legs.

The plank can be performed in several versions, including a simple version based on the forearms and toes, a side plank, a plank on one arm, and others. In addition, there are many options for the plank using additional equipment, such as an Ab-roller wheel or dumbbells.

The plank is a very effective exercise for developing strength, endurance and core stability. It helps to strengthen the muscles of the abdominals, back, buttocks and legs, improve posture, reduce the risk of injury and back pain. In addition, the plank can be performed anywhere, without the need for special equipment or a gym.
