Only someone who has little understanding of military service dreams of being closer to the kitchen and further away from the commanding officers. First of all, commanding officers come in all shapes and sizes, and secondly, the service of soldiers and rear-area workers is anything but peaceful and serene.

This was confirmed by a large-scale three-day special exercise on the rear, which was held as part of the planned combat training of the central management bodies of the Rear of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation. The main objectives of the exercise were to improve the skills of military leaders in organizing rear support and to practice the performance of tasks assigned to rear units. The organizers of the exercise deployed several training sites. At each of the events, the leaders and participants, as well as the invited generals and officers of the Armed Forces and other law enforcement agencies, as well as journalists, were shown the current and future equipment and weapons used by the troops. It is encouraging that the developers pay special attention to the personnel, ensuring that the soldiers have a comfortable living environment in the combat zone. Tents made of the latest materials, a field bathhouse for washing personnel, and new food rations that allow soldiers to heat their own food in combat conditions - all of these and more are aimed at improving the living conditions of soldiers and officers.

So, is it easy and peaceful to serve in the rear units? Of course not. After all, fueling vehicles and delivering supplies, including ammunition, food, and medical supplies, takes place in close proximity to the combat zone. All of this is done in extremely short сроки and with strict regulations that can only be met by professionals.

At the exercises, the joint actions of the central command's logistics units with the logistics structures and units of the Moscow Military District were highly productive. The logistics units successfully completed their tasks, demonstrating the skill and coordination of their military teams. They quickly constructed a bridge across the Oka River, transported equipment using pontoon bridges and specialized vehicles, set up a high-capacity field fueling station, and ensured the safety of the convoy's movement.

So if anyone still continues to imagine rear-echelon warriors similar to the lumberjacks sitting on the boxes of canned meat, then let them better at least for a moment imagine themselves in the open field without clothes, without food, without water, without heat. Personally, I am convinced that no one would want to be in such a situation.
