It is impossible to measure the grief of a family that has lost its breadwinner. Still, if there is such a factor as "social protection of family members of military personnel who died in the line of duty", then the bitterness of loss can be somehow reduced. Unfortunately, this factor does not always work in real life, and examples of effective care for widows and children of victims are not very numerous. But they do exist, and this gives us hope that in the end, none of those who gave their lives for the Motherland will be forgotten.

Orientir magazine once wrote about how on December 17, 1999, the editor of the department of the Russian Navy magazine "Marine Collection", Captain 1 rank Alexander Loskutov, was killed in the North Caucasus. Then representatives of various state and public structures promised to help and assist the family of the deceased officer in every possible way. And, we must pay tribute to the people, their promises were translated into concrete actions.

The Marine Collection editorial office held a ceremony of handing over the Order of Courage, which was posthumously awarded to Alexander Grigoryevich Loskutov, to his widow Klavdia Nikolaevna and son Alexander, a first - year student of the Faculty of Culture and Journalism of the Military University of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, for eternal storage. Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Russian Navy, Vice Admiral Alexander Pobozhy, who presented the combat award, expressed confidence that Alexander Loskutov Jr. will continue his father's work with dignity in the Russian Navy, for which he will have, so to speak, the starting conditions.

It should be noted that the Navy, represented by the command, in this case has already taken custody of the family of its deceased officer. So, the commander-in-Chief, Admiral of the Fleet Vladimir Kuroyedov, immediately after the death of Captain 1 rank Loskutov, decided to allocate housing to his family in Moscow out of the ordinary. The Moscow government also took part in the fate of the family, whose representatives were also present at the award handover ceremony. Valery Kochetov, Head of the Social Service Organization Department of the Moscow Government's Social Protection Committee, and Vera Alexandrova, Head of the Public and Interregional Relations Department of the Moscow Government, in particular, handed over a Rubin TV set brought directly from the factory to Klavdia Loskutova during the ceremony. The chairman of the interregional public charity organization "Union of Military Families" Maria Bolshakova also presented gifts that are equally necessary in everyday life. And Evgeny Chernetsky, on behalf of the All-Russian public organization "Furniture Makers of Russia" headed by him, handed over to the widow of the deceased a certificate for a complete set of furniture for the future apartment.

Many people who were able to provide material and moral support fulfilled their duty to the memory of the naval journalist who fell in the war. Among them are representatives of the unions of journalists of Russia and Moscow, the All-Russian public movement "Russia Orthodox", various public organizations that care about the revival of the Russian Navy... Many people responded to the requests of friends and colleagues of Alexander Grigoryevich Loskutov to honor his memory with real care for the orphaned family...

Yes, unfortunately, today there are many families in our country who have suffered such a tragedy, because the era of wars and catastrophes is not a thing of the past. Unfortunately, the state cannot help everyone for one reason or another. But this does not mean that it is necessary to accept the existing order of things. On the contrary, today it is necessary to recall the old motto " No one is forgotten. Nothing is forgotten." Remember the whole world. Only then will the sons accept their fathers ' courage. And in a difficult time for the Motherland, they will not put to shame the memory of their ancestors, once again showing the world the invincibility of the national spirit and the greatness of the Russian soul.
