The war in the form of sabotage and terror on the doorstep of our homes gave us a chance to feel not a population, but a nation. Severe necessity called into action the refrain "The people and the army are one"that had been left in reserve. It seems that now this is no longer an election slogan, but a means to salvation. Then it's time to recall the national ballad performed by Mark Bernes "Do the Russians want war?.."Alas, the silence, as the song sings, can no longer be asked. It's been torn apart by the hellish morning explosions in Russian cities for a long time, and it's impossible to "ask those soldiers who lie under the birches." We haven't buried all the remains of those who fell in the Great Patriotic War, and it's a shame that we haven't found the money to identify the remains of our boys who died in the first Chechen campaign.

It turns out that we can only ask ourselves: Do the Russians want a war? Mothers, sisters, loved ones, and the elderly... Do they want it? Probably not. But they long for retribution and the purification of the Russian land from the filth. Therefore, they bless our army to destroy the arrogant bandits. Otherwise, they will destroy us...
