"I FOUND A COMPLETE UNDERSTANDING OF MY PROBLEMS"
I am a reserve officer who retired from the Armed Forces in 1989. During this time, I worked in several commercial structures, but for various reasons I was not satisfied with working there. Therefore, I applied to the district employment service. And immediately faced with an obstacle-my age. As I was told, current employers prefer to hire younger people. Then I was recommended to go to Poklonnaya Gora in the Kutuzovsky International Exhibition Center. Here I was met with a full understanding of my problems. Taking into account my education, specialty, age, and previous work experience, they picked up a vacancy within a month, which I took advantage of. Now I am responsible for all the electrical facilities of the Tatarstan representative office in Moscow. I like my work and find it satisfying, but it doesn't cover my material needs, especially recently. Probably, soon I will go again "on a bow" in "Kutuzovsky".
"IN" KUTUZOVSKY " THEY WILL ALWAYS HELP OUR BROTHER-STOREKEEPER "
LEGKOV Alexander Sergeevich, captain of the 3rd rank in the reserve, now Deputy Director for Economics of polyclinic No. 164 in Moscow
I learned about the existence of a kind of labor exchange for military personnel - the Kutuzovsky employment center-from publications in the press. As a former soldier, I naturally had a desire to try my luck. I have been in "civil swimming" for more than 8 years. I was an engineer by profession, and I was hoping that the center would be able to offer me an acceptable job. I want to emphasize that at the time of applying to Kutuzovsky, I was not unemployed, so I chose the proposed vacancies, as they say, "with passion". I immediately refused to work as a security guard, but I liked the work in the city polyclinic, and I agreed to it, which I do not regret at all. Communicating with the center's specialists, I made sure that they are attentive to each request or request of the visitor. Rest assured: our brother storekeeper will always be helped here.
"HERE I WAS GIVEN HOPE"
Oleg A. VOLKOV, senior lieutenant of the reserve, now an engineer for labor protection and fire safety of the RIA-Novosti news agency
The question of employment arose in my mind in the most natural way, since the length of service did not give me the right to a pension. To solve this problem, I applied to the labor exchange and many agencies. To put it bluntly, the attitude towards ex-servicemen there is not very friendly. Agree, the unemployed is a title of little prestige, but the former military man, who "often acts as a" freeloader", few people have compassion.
I learned from my friends about the existence of the Kutuzovsky Employment Center in Moscow, and in March 1998 I turned to its specialists. And literally within two weeks, I was selected an interesting job, and there were several vacancies, one more tempting to the other. This was done quickly, clearly and in an exceptionally friendly manner: I was greeted with a smile and given hope. Maybe I was just lucky, but now I have an interesting, decent job in the largest news agency in Russia. And this is thanks to the Kutuzovsky International Exhibition Center
"I STARTED LOOKING FOR A JOB EVEN BEFORE I LEFT FOR THE RESERVE"
Igor VINOGRADOV, Reserve Lieutenant Colonel, now Sales Manager of a commercial firm
My position was reduced when I was serving in the Chkalovsky garrison. Frankly, I saw this coming and started looking for a job long before I was fired. I have not achieved much success in this field. But I realized one thing: for employment "in civilian life" it is necessary to have a modern specialty. And when the specialists of the Kutuzovsky International Medical Center, where I applied, offered me some training, I gladly agreed. The center sent me to military retraining courses in Shchelkovo. I studied there in the specialty "management". After completing the courses, I again applied to Kutuzovsky . The offer to work in a commercial firm as a manager suited me perfectly. But life does not stand still. Having worked in the company, I gained experience, new knowledge, and I think that now I am capable of more. Therefore, I decided to use the services of Kutuzovsky once again. I'm sure they'll help me this time, too.
