Dear editors,
Recently, while passing through Moscow, in one of the military bookstores, I purchased a very interesting and useful set of colored posters "Military uniforms", prepared by the Association of Military Journalists-veterans. According to the seller, I realized that there are similar posters on other topics. However, they were not in the store that day. If you can, please tell us what other products the association produces and how you can purchase them.
Captain Igor BELOTSERKOVSKY. Siberian Military District
The bookstore gave you the right orientation. The Association of Veterans of Military Journalism has been preparing and publishing educational and visual aids on military-patriotic topics for a long time. In particular, such sets of color posters as "Orders and Medals of Russia" - about modern awards-were developed and published. "Military uniforms" - about modern uniforms of the Russian Armed Forces. It seems that readers will also be interested in sets of color posters released in the series "Weapons of Russia", "Small arms, grenade launchers, flamethrowers", "Combat aircraft and helicopters","Armored vehicles and anti-tank weapons". Each of these sets contains a set of colored posters depicting the corresponding modern equipment or weapons.
It should also be noted that these manuals were published in modern Russia for the first time. They can be used both when conducting classes with personnel, and during design work. The format of posters is A-4, which allows you to equip stands in a variety of places.
For more information about the procedure and conditions for purchasing posters, please contact: 103062, Moscow, a / z 97. Bondar Maria Petrovna. Phone / fax: (095) 203-60-52, 390-26-76.
A few words about promising releases. In the near future, sets of posters dedicated to the symbols of Russia and the Armed Forces, shoulder straps and insignia of Russian soldiers will be released. The Weapons of Russia series will also be continued , featuring posters on air defense, strategic Missile Forces, and Navy equipment. In conclusion, we should note the following: the author of the letter to the editor is absolutely right, who claims that the use of visual aids, in particular the above-mentioned sets of posters, will provide significant assistance to commanders and educators in working with personnel.
