The source of the crisis is seen in the loss of economic knowledge of its function of assessing the meaning of human economic activity with the tendency to outgrow it into a simple technological discipline of optimization calculations. A model of theoretical economy is proposed, which includes interacting segments of the philosophy of economy and physical economy.
