Imagine a substance that costs twenty million dollars per kilogram. It is scarcely found on Earth, but is abundant across the Moon's surface. It can cool quantum computers to temperatures close to absolute zero, and perhaps someday it will become fuel for clean fusion energy. This is not the plot of a science-fiction novel. This is helium-3—a rare isotope that today has become the focus of a new space race.

In this article, the phenomenon of the 'Russian gaze,' which has become an unexpected global trend at the beginning of 2026, is examined. Based on an analysis of publications in the media, social networks, and expert commentary, the nature of this phenomenon, its cultural roots, and its mechanisms of spread are reconstructed. Particular attention is paid to the paradoxical nature of the situation: at a time when Western countries are trying to 'cancel' Russian culture, interest in it worldwide not only does not fade but also takes on new, viral forms. Also analyzed are the accompanying trends: the fashion for 'Slavic chic' in clothing, the popularity of Russian music abroad, and attempts by foreigners to master the elusive specifics of the Russian facial expression.

This article examines the Roswell Incident — an event that became the cornerstone of modern ufology and conspiracy theories about the U.S. government's cover-up of contact with extraterrestrial civilizations. Based on analysis of historical documents, official U.S. Air Force reports, and journalistic investigations, the authentic chronology of the July 1947 events and their subsequent mythologization is reconstructed. Special attention is paid to Project Mogul as the real source of the recovered debris, the role of ufologists in creating the legend, and the transformation of a small town in New Mexico into the epicenter of a global tourism industry based on belief in aliens.

In this article, the question of the causes of Jeffrey Epstein's years-long impunity is examined, the American financier accused of organizing a network for the sexual exploitation of minors. Based on an analysis of the chronology of investigations, court documents, and expert conclusions, the mechanism that allowed the offender to evade real punishment for more than a decade and a half is reconstructed. Particular attention is paid to the factors that ensured his impunity: privileged social status, connections with the elites, corrupt deals with prosecutors, and the systemic shortcomings of the American justice system.
