The Portalus.ru library is truly one of the oldest electronic scientific libraries in the Russian-speaking segment of the internet, which has been operating since October 14, 2004. Over more than 20 years, it has collected more than 120,000 documents and continues to develop.

What is Portalus.ru?

This is a free platform for publishing original scientific and literary works. Any author can post their research, articles, or books here, making them accessible to a wide audience. The project operates free of charge, providing authors with technical opportunities for publishing their texts.

Library Structure

The site is organized into several thematic sections, which simplifies navigation for readers and authors.

Section Content
Russian Hall Culture, history, and economics of Russia
Scientific Hall Biology, medicine, history, linguistics, pedagogy, political science, psychology, philosophy, ecology, and other disciplines
Literature Hall Russian and foreign literary works

This structure allows for quick access to publications in specific fields of knowledge.

International Recognition and Citing

A significant step in the development of the project was the integration with the international library network Libmonster. Since 2018, all new publications on Portalus.ru have been automatically retransmitted to electronic libraries in many countries around the world, including Belarus, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Moldova, Estonia, Serbia, Sweden, and others.

Information about the published texts also reaches search engines (Yandex, Google), social networks, and specialized databases such as Google Scholar. This directly affects the author's citation index, which is especially important for scientists, teachers, and researchers.

Opportunities for Authors

Portalus.ru offers convenient tools for publishing. The process of adding material is free and takes only a couple of minutes. Special conditions are provided for known authors and their representatives: the editorial board is ready to publish new works on its own, acting as a personal assistant.

In addition to storing texts, the library helps authors find partners, investors, and new employers — interested parties can contact them directly through the contact information provided in the publications.

Conclusion

Portalus.ru is not just an archive; it is a living ecosystem for the scientific and literary community. It connects authors with readers worldwide, helps increase citation rates, and preserves texts for future generations. For researchers, teachers, students, and writers, it is still one of the most accessible and effective ways to announce their work.
