A. V. MITROFANOVA, I. P. OSTAPENKO, L. S. ROGACHEVSKAYA. Study of the History of Soviet Factories and Plants: Results and Tasks

The authors analyse the main results of the study of the history of Soviet factories during the last fifty years initiated by the CC CPSU (B) decision of November 10, 1931 "On the Publication of 'History of Factories" and M. Gorky's role in unfolding mass movement of workers, scientists and writers for creating works on the history of factories and plants and in further development of this most important line of Soviet historical research. The authors have identified individual stages of research in this field, pointed out the general and the particular inherent in literature of each stage and formulated immediate scientific tasks.

I. D. KOVALCHENKO, Corresponding Member, USSR Academy of Sciences, A. E. SHIK LO. The Turn of the 20th-century Crisis of the Russian Bourgeois Historical Science

The article sums up Soviet research of the crisis of the Russian bourgeois historical science at the turn of the 20th century, points to problems requiring further investigation and charts the ways of such research and its theoretical and methodological aspects. Comprehensive analysis of the crisis should be directed at the study of the internal contraditions inherent in the Russian bourgeois historical science while systems approach should constitute the methodological basis of research. Two major figures of the conservative trend of the Russian liberal-bourgeois historiography-P. N. Milyukov and A. S. Lappo-Danilevsky-are taken in order to illustrate concrete manifestations of the

E. V. KOVALEV. Genesis, Evolution and Some Specific Features of Latin American Agrarian Relations

Agrarian relations in Latin America have been formed under the impact of Spanish and Portuguese conquests, they were based on both pre-conquest type of relations and relations brought to the region by the Spaniards and Portuguese. Their most characteristic feature has become slave or serf dependence of the indigenous population which has slackened capitalist development in agriculture proceeding in more or less "Prussian" way. Concentration of land in the hands of few big landowners leads to the situation when the bulk of the peasantry has little or no land, they fight for land and new forms of production and social organisation in agriculture, against latifundism.

E. M. KOZHOKIN. On the Consolidation of Class Consciousness of the French Proletariat

The author reconstructs types of the working-class consciousness, studies some aspects of the formation of class approach to society among progressive proletarians of the epoch of the industrial revolution on the basis of letters, pamphlets and reminiscences of 19th-century French proletarians.

K. P. KORZHEVA. Problem of Early Christian Ideology in Soviet Historiography

The author proceeds from the Marxist-Leninist proposition that the emergence of early Christian ideology caused an ideological upheaval in the period of the collapse of the antique order in the Roman Empire (lst-2nd centuries) which was accompanied by the disintegration of the old ideology engendering an ideological struggle of the lower social strata against the ruling class. The author takes as her subject Soviet historiography of the question from the 1920s-1930s up to our day and notes that Soviet historians tend to regard early Christian ideology as a broad movement, as a passionate protest of the exploited freemen and slaves against the Empire, its ideology and morals, and as one of the forms of class struggle.

The world ether is filled with gravitons. A positron rotating in the ether twists around itself graviton spheres, which increase its mass and turn it into a proton. The graviton spheres of the positron attract an electron to it, giving rise to a neutron. A proton, having lost some of its rotational energy, with its atomic graviton spheres - (unlike nuclear graviton spheres, which attract an electron to a proton, turning it into a neutron) - attracts an electron to itself, turning it into a hydrogen atom.

The transformation occurs by replacing the charge motion vector with the opposite vector. This is explained by the fact that all elements of the electron's magnetoelectric system are opposite to all elements of the positron's magnetoelectric system. And this opposite is determined by the vector of their movement in space. Therefore, one has only to change - by means of a diode bridge, a mechanical rectifier or a brush generator of a direct current generator - the motion vector of one of the charges to the opposite vector, so that this charge immediately turns into its antipode.

According to our hypothesis, the conduction current is the current of electrons and positrons propagating in the ether, which surrounds the conductor. And according to our hypothesis, the photo effect is not a knockout of an electron from the cathode, but a reflection of an electromagnetic wave from the cathode. According to our hypothesis, an electromagnetic wave is formed by electrons and positrons. And these hypotheses completely overturn our understanding of the process of the photoelectric effect.
